Malcolm Ayles was a dedicated and inspiring martial artist who made a significant impact on his community. He was the owner and head instructor of Shiryodo Karate in Mount Duneed, Victoria. Malcolm’s journey into martial arts was driven by a desire to overcome personal challenges and rebuild his life. His dedication and passion for karate earned him the respect and admiration of his students and peers.
Malcolm’s life was tragically cut short on April 1, 2024, while he was on holiday in Thailand. He nearly drowned in an incident at Jomtien Beach in Pattaya and did not regain consciousness after being pulled from the water Despite his untimely death, Malcolm’s legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched and the positive influence he had as a martial artist and instructor.
